Courses relating  the engineering of information systems and e-government

The aim of this project is to introduce, within the University of Boumerdès (Algeria) , the topics related to the information systems engineering and the e-government projects. The principal perspective wished with this mission is to enrich the content of the programs offered by the Department of Informatics at the University of Boumerdès .

The following themes are tackled :

• Classic approaches for the engineering of institutional information systems.
• Advanced methods for the engineering of institutional information systems.
• Studies of the aspects of collaboration in the context of the engineering of institutional information systems.
• How to build the informational kernel  and how to implement the organizational aspects.
• Institutional information systems re-engineering.
• Information systems and e-Government:

• The field of e-government : conformity of information systems with the regulatory frame.
• How to improve the quality of e-government services ?
• How to improve the Front Office services ?
• How to improve the Back Office services ?
• Method and approach for information systems engineering dedicated to e-Government.
• Fields covered by the e-Government.

The course includes several  case studies for class discussion.
