Relevance of the Application within the University of Applied Sciences
|
For INE-ZHW the know-how transfer with Tomsk Polytechnic University was a first step in the process of establishment of partnerships with research institutions in emerging economies, a strategy INE-ZHW defined in autumn 2005. The project offered opportunities for field visits of collaborators in potential production regions and established a basis for follow up projects. INE-ZHW could build a network in an Eastern country and to initiate further partnerships.

Relevance of the Application within the partner organisation

SZZPUT seizes its unique opportunity to be the first Russian University to integrate Social Management and introduce it on the market. For SZZ-PUT the cooperation is of major strategic importance. SZZ-PUT had already established a solid fundament in the area of Quality and Environmental Management. The integration of social aspects as the third pillar of sustainability means an important step towards a position of research and service provider in the field of integrated management systems.
